Bahrain GP 2011 axed

After opposition from Formula1 teams the Bahrain GP 2011 has been cancelled. This means that Indian GP 2011 get to keep its date in October.
Dont Worry Bahrain we will definately see you in 2012.

Bahrain GP 2011 finds a date

The most frequent question that I had heard in the past few days was "When is the Bahrain Grand Prix 2011 going to be held?". The answer is finally out. The Bahrain GP 2011 will now be held in place of the Indian Grand Prix 2011. The Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix will now take place from 28th Oct to 30th Oct. The Indian Grand Prix 2011 will now be the final race of the season.

The decision to bring back the grand prix to Bahrain was taken after a fact finding team visited Bahrain on 31st May and submitted their report. Bahrain faced a wave of protest in Febuary and March this year after which a state of emergency was announced. Currently the ground situation has improved a lot and the state of emergency has been lifted.
We hope that the situation improves further so that the race can be held without any fear.

India tour of West Indies 2011 schedule

This June you can watch India play cricket in the Caribbean. India tour of West Indies 2011 starts on 4th of June and consist of 1 Twenty-20, 5 ODI's and 3 Test matches. The India versus West Indies 2011 ODI series will have a young captain in Gautam Gambhir because Dhoni, Zaheer and Tendulkar have been rested. The India versus West Indies 2011 Test series is another opportunity for India to stamp its supremacy in the Test arena.
